Lots of choices of vegetables and mouth-watering protein, mainly Javanese food. Their yellow rice is superb, they also have red rice for the health-conscious. The price is average for Kuta area. Their local desserts is a must-try, I recommend their es cendol. The place has nice vintage vibes and is quite spacious. No AC but it felt quite cool, especially in the no-smoking area.

My first time trying this kind of warung. Where you pick the rice (white, red or yellow), the meat or veggie and side dish. After that the cashier instead of telling you how much and let you pay, they pass you price tags for every dish or item you ordered. Then before leaving, go back to the cashier and pay. I assume it's to anticipate in case i order something else while still there. Full of trust!!! This is impressive! But unfortunately because of this, the staff doesn't go around much. Leaving tables did not take care of immediately after the customer finished eating or leaving. There's plenty of selections here. Love it!!! The vibe here is also very nice. Making me feel like it's a pretty cool place to hang out with friends.

Didn't have the chance to take picture of my order coz to hungry back then The food, good, homemade food always make me wants to come again. The ambience of the place is superb, even though outside is scorching heat The flow of taking order was okay, no one try to cut the que and all, and even it is located quite far from the main road, they already have their loyal customer. All and all, everything was good and can be one of the choices for you if you want to have a homemade food.

Warung Kolega is a hidden gem tucked away in Seminyak that offers an authentic taste of local Balinese and Indonesian cuisine in a relaxed, unpretentious setting. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and laid-back — perfect for escaping the bustle of the main streets and enjoying a genuinely satisfying meal. The menu celebrates traditional flavours with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their nasi campur is a standout, beautifully balanced with fragrant rice, tender proteins, vibrant vegetables and a selection of rich sambals that deliver depth without overpowering. Other favourites include gado-gado, ayam betutu and mouthwatering grilled fish — all prepared with care and seasoned just right. Portions are generous and excellent value for money. The setting adds to the experience. Surrounded by simple tropical greenery and a comfortable open-air layout, Warung Kolega feels like dining in a local backyard — casual, friendly and authentic. The staff are superbly warm and attentive, happy to guide you through menu options and offer recommendations. Whether you’re craving traditional Indonesian comfort food or want a relaxed lunch that feels local rather than touristy, Warung Kolega hits the mark. It’s one of those neighbourhood spots that you return to again and again.
